Megan Nielsen Durban x Blackbird Canvas Fabric

This outfit was completely inspired by my Owala water bottle. My sweet husband and kids bought me a new water bottle for the gym for Mother’s Day and I loved the colourway. So I didn’t hesitate when I saw Blackbird release this canvas fabric in the exact colours. What are the chances?!

This canvas is such a good weight and the colour is so vibrant for a fabric that is usually available in neutrals. For the pattern I chose the Megan Nielsen Durban pattern and opted for the the sleeveless and shorts view. I sized down for this one but probably should have kept my current size due to the heavy weight nature of canvas but I’ll work on wearing it in.

One of my favourite parts of this make it the vintage buttons I picked up that were the perfect orange. They topped off the outfit and I’m just so happy I have an outfit that matches my water bottle exactly. Are you inspired by the things around you?
